as a matter of fact i think pate is an EXCELLENT GUITAR PLAYER!!

i'm basically what you'd call a "self-taught" guitar player, but i've taken lessons too... it's great to figure out something by yourself but if you can (and you should) take lessons i.e. from friends or whoever, it's faster and more efficient. (nowadays i actually give lessons too...)

lately i've been checking out the many guitar lessons in youtube, especially the paul gilbert clips are a blast! ...but those are not exactly lessons for beginners
....well, maybe i consider myself an "advanced beginner" then!!!
with guitar playing, the learning NEVER stops! there's ALLWAYS something new to pick up!!

oh, the reason i got into SO. was that i got to know stala and at the time they didn't have a guitar player... so a moment later they still didn't have a guitar player,
they had THE guitar player!
...there was no kind of audition needed ....and pate joined in a moment later because we needed another kick-ass guitar player and it just HAD TO BE pate vaughn!
